While I am based in Peak Hill I travel to surrounding areas in the Central West NSW - Dubbo, Condobolin, Gilgandra, Nyngan, Warren, Bourke, Cobar, Coonamble, Tooraweena, Narromine, Orange, Bathurst, Mudgee, Wellington, Parkes, Forbes, Cowra, West Wyalong, Temora, just to name a few of the places I have been designing. The judges believed this project deserved special recognition for its uniquely sustainable approach. With a deep respect for place, history, and reuse, the designer lovingly reimagined a kitchen that genuinely honoured the home’s heritage and the clients’ passions. Repurposed doors, salvaged windows, a Rayburn stove, and rescued tiles were woven into a beautifully functional space, adding charm, character, and modern performance. This is a kitchen with a soul – designed to endure, delight, and tell a meaningful story.
